Welcome to my Colorado location guide!
Colorado has an incredible variety of gorgeous locations through the state. There are epic mountains, red rock formations, alpine lakes, canyons, overlooks, and so much more. This guide is to help you pick a location for your photography session or elopement. I am continually updating this guide as I find more awesome locations in Colorado!
While this guide is meant to help you pick a location, it's not a comprehensive, all-inclusive list of all locations in Colorado. When I'm your photographer, I work with you individually to make your vision come to life. I provide custom location suggestions and more detailed logistical details. I also assist with permits, timelines, planning, and logistics.
These are some of my favorite locations to get your ideas started!
Things to think about when picking a location
Accessibility: Think about how far you want to drive and how accessible you want the location to be. If you are having any guests, do you want them to be at the ceremony location with you? How much hiking do you want to do?
Landscape: What type of landscape do you want? Do you prefer mountains, lakes, red rocks, sand dunes, or forests?
Activities: What activities do you want to include in your day? For example, do you want to hike, watch sunset, have a picnic, ski, rock climb, or have a relaxing day close to your accommodations?
